The problem

Your medicine drawer is a mess. It's not just you.

Every home has a drawer, box, or shelf full of half-used strips — kept track of with sticky notes, old notebooks, and just trying to remember.

Problem 1

The torn label

You've got a perfectly good strip of tablets, but the part with the expiry date got torn off months ago. Now there's no way to know if it's still safe to use.

Problem 2

What was this even for?

You find a half-empty strip but can't remember why you bought it — a stomach ache, a cough, or something else. So you end up searching the medicine name online just to figure it out.

Problem 3

Nobody else knows

Someone in the family bought a syrup last month. Nobody else knows where it is, how much is left, or what it was even for.

FarmaPetika is your family's own private medicine cabinet, kept on your phone — save the details before the label gets torn. Scan the barcode or snap a photo the moment you buy something, and the expiry date and quantity are saved for good, even if the packaging isn't.

What it does

Six things, done well

No diagnoses, no dosage guidance, no medical advice — just a clear record of what you already have.

Store what you have

Barcode scan, OCR the label, or type it manually — log everything in one organized place.

Track expiry dates

See at a glance what's expiring soon, so nothing sits forgotten past its date.

Refill reminders

Set a gentle nudge before you run low, on your own schedule.

Search by your own memory

No cryptic chemical names to Google — search "Dad's cough" or "knee pain," just like you'd remember it.

See it all at a glance

One list of your household's medicines — sorted, filtered, and easy to scan.

Works offline

Your data lives on your device. No account required to keep the app useful.

How it works

From cabinet to app in four steps

No setup wizard, no account required to start — just log what you have and let FarmaPetika keep watch.

1

Add a medicine

Scan the barcode, snap the label with OCR, or type it in manually — whichever's fastest.

2

Set the details

Expiry date is read straight from the box via scan or OCR, or entered by hand in seconds.

3

Get notified

FarmaPetika watches expiry dates and low stock, and nudges you before it matters.

4

Search anytime

Look up what's on hand or what you used before — all from your own history.

Peṭikā, from Sanskrit, meaning "box" or "case" — the name is literal. FarmaPetika is meant to be exactly that: a home for the medicines you already own, not a system that tells you what to take.

Privacy

Personal data never leaves your device

Your family's health information belongs to you. By default, it stays on your phone — it's never sent to us or shared with anyone. If you choose to back up to your own cloud storage, it stays yours there too; we never see or hold it either way. This page only asks for your email, so we can tell you when the app is ready.

What it's not

An organizer, not a doctor

FarmaPetika helps you keep track of medicines you already have. It doesn't recommend medicines, suggest treatments, tell you what dose to take, or replace advice from a pharmacist or doctor.
